William Lee Conley Broonzy Bradley<\/strong>, (26. 6. 1893 ali 1903, Scott County, Mississippi – 14. ali 15. 8., 1958,\u00a0 Chicago)
\nV 30ih pr. st. je bil poznan kot eden najbolj aktivnih blues glasbenikov V Chicagu. Takrat je nastopal z mnogimi, prav tako odli\u010dnimi glasbeniki: Tampa Red<\/strong>, Lonnie Johnson<\/strong>, Memphis Minnie<\/strong>, Jazz Gillum<\/strong>, Sonny Boy Williamson<\/strong>… Leta 1938 je nastopil na ‘John Hammond\u2019s famous Spiritual and Swing concert’<\/em> v dvorani Carnegie Hall<\/strong> v New Yorku, prvi\u010d je igral in pel belemu ob\u010dinstvu. Po tem koncertu so ga ljudje za\u010deli klicati ‘Big Bill<\/em>‘ Broonzy.
\nBil je eden bolj izstopajo\u010dih blues glasbenikov, v svoji 50-letni karieri je posnel ve\u010d kot 260 skladb, med njimi Feelin\u2019 Low Down<\/em>, Remember Big Bill<\/em>, Make Me Getaway<\/em>, in Big Bill Broonzy Sings Country Blues<\/em>. Nastopal je od Mississippija do Chicaga, pot ga je zanesla celo v Evropo, kjer je postal splo\u0161no znan.
\nLeta 1980 je dobil svoje mesto v ‘The Blues Foundation’s Hall of Fame<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n
